Data Storage : Model U-2900 has space for storing 50 sets of data. For storage of more data, an USB memory stick can be attached.

Incorporation of stigmatic concave diffraction grating : For elimination of the aberrations, a stigmatic concave diffraction grating has been developed by applying Hitachi's original technology for making the grooves on the grating by the only ruling engine in Japan . As a result, a higher resolution has been realized.

PC based Instrument control and data processing : U-2900 can be controlled by a PC equipped with optional UV Solutions Program. U-2910, on the other hand. is the model exclusively for operation with a PC.

Specifications :

Applications : Model U-2900/2910 can be used to analyse chemical and biological samples in liquid form both qualitatively as well as quantitatively. It can also measure transmittance and absorbance of samples in the form of thin film and glass filter by using appropriate sample holder. Following are few examples of its application -
